Thousands of people enjoyed the sunshine and their first sailing experience at the first weekend activity of Push the Boat Out.

Over the bank holiday weekend, visitors flocked to Norfolk and neighbouring counties to try out sailing activities organised by the Royal Yachting Association and hosted by sailing clubs.

The Norfolk Broads Yacht Club allowed visitors to go for taster sails, watch racing and enjoy what the club has to offer.

Horning Sailing Club also took part by running sailing sessions for 270 people in conjunction with the Horning Boat Show.

For families who did not get on the water during the bank holiday weekend, there are still plenty of opportunities to do so as the activities continue throughout the month.

All kit and safety equipment is provided at the events.
