Traffic was delayed at rush hour this evening after a four-car crash in Hellesdon.
Emergency services were called just before 6pm to a crash on Fifers Lane.
Cars backed up on to the A140 Cromer Road as police diverted traffic and closed Fifers Lane.
Fire engines were called from Sprowston, Earlham and Carrow to make the scene safe.
There were also delays on the A1056 Ipswich Road in Norwich which was closed coming into the city between the Grove Avenue junction and the A11 St Stephens Road junction because of a burst water main.
