Queues built in Long Stratton after a crash left the main route to Norwich closed.
Police were called to the incident on the A140 Ipswich Road northbound just after 5.30pm on Tuesday night.
The incident, which happened at Parker's Lane, closed the road for some time, before the vehicles were moved.
Traffic remains slow between Dickleburgh and Newton Flotman.
