Just like many businesses and clubs around the area, a group from the Maddermarket Theatre will be taking part in Sunday's Run Norwich event as a team.
Two staff members, a volunteer and a trustee from the Norwich theatre will take their places at the starting line among 6,000 competitors in the 10km race, which will bring the Fine City to a standstill with a hail of footsteps, cheers and personal triumphs.
James Utting, theatre carpenter, is aiming to beat his time from last year's race, while Jez Pike, director of productions, is taking part for the first time.
Rebecca Wass, general manager, Trevor Burton, trustee, and Amanda Greenway, wardrobe mistress, are also in the theatre's team.
The runners are raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and the theatre itself. To donate, visit www.everyclick.com/maddersontherunnorwich
