Firefighters have revealed an emergency call-out in Cromer in the early hours of this morning (Monday) turned out to be 'a malicious false alarm'.
Crews from Sheringham and Cromer rushed to the scene in the town's Hamilton Road following a report of an alarm sounding shortly after 4am.
However, they were later stood down. An investigation is now underway.
Meanwhile, shortly after 11am. a crew from Sheringham was called out to extinguish a car on fire at Upper Sheringham.
