It has been getting busy at the RSPCA East Norfolk Branch and lots of cats have started arriving almost daily, sadly lots of them need several weeks of care before they can be rehomed. The ones that are all fit and ready cant wait for their new families and loving homes.

Our longest resident is Geordie, a gorgeous male tabby cat around four years old, and we really hope that this week we can place him in a loving home. He is a stunning cat and has a lovely friendly disposition. Geordie would need to be the only cat as he can become a little stressed around other animals and small children.

Gorgeous Gazza is seven years old and is affectionate with people. He has lived with another cat in the past but he is not overly keen on them.

Chirpy is a sweet, friendly and affectionate cat who loves a good fuss. She is around 18 months to 2 years of age and has her paws crossed that she will be picked this week.

Sherlock is a very handsome black male cat. He is super friendly, loves people and has apparently lived with another cat in the past.

Boots is a very sweet and pretty girl, around 5 to 6 years of age, who needs a special home as she does not like to be touched or picked up. Boots has lived for the last few years as an indoor cat and is very happy to share your home. She will need a quiet adult household who will let her do her own thing and be patient with her.

Pippa is a very friendly 3 year old cat who has come to us through no fault of her own. She finds herself, along with her sister, looking for a loving forever home.

Kate is the sister of Pippa and they are hoping that they can be rehomed together. They would settle on their own so could be separated if needed to ensure both cats find good homes.

Eastern Daily Press: Hansel. Photo: RSPCA East NorfolkHansel. Photo: RSPCA East Norfolk (Image: RSPCA East Norfolk)

Hansel is nine years old and such a nice cat. He is very affectionate and loving and so is his sister Gretal. They have both been waiting for a while for a new home and it would be lovely if they could go together as they are very devoted to each other.

Gretal waits patiently with her brother Hansel and hopes that someone will come to rehome them both. She is a really cuddly girl and does like a fuss. Gretal was found to have a heart condition when she came to us but this needs no medication currently. She would be much happier in a home environment so lets keep our fingers and whiskas crossed for them.

Lottie was found living on an allotment after being born outside. She is a sweet little girl and has got used to people and being handled. She would need an adult home with someone who can be patient with her and not expect too much in the first few weeks whilst she settles down. She is around 7-9 months of age and is really sweet once she trusts you.
