Firefighters had to strip the roof from a home in Diss after a fire last night.
Appliances from Diss, Eye and Harleston, along with the aerial ladder platform from Earlham, were called at 8.30pm to the fire at a property in Victoria Road.
A spokesman for the fire service said no one was home at the time, but that the roof had been stripped from the property.
Crews extinguished the fire using main and hose reel jets, with the last appliance leaving the scene just before 1am. A further follow-up check was carried out at 4am to ensure the scene was safe.
