He may a be a terrier cross rather than a boxer - but playful Rocky the dog is hoping he can find a new home.

The one-year-old hound, who is currently being looked by Dogs Trust Snetterton, is described as a “sweet and independent boy” who is “looking for a quiet adult-only home in a rural environment with a large garden to show you all of his tricks”.

A spokesman for the Norfolk rehoming centre added: “He loves playing with toys and will do anything for a tasty treat. He needs people who understand his needs and can give him the time, love and care he deserves.

“Rocky is a quick learner and will enjoy a home that likes to go on nice walks where he can explore new places.

“He’ll make a great friend to his new owners.”
