Rock legend Rod Stewart to play Norwich City FC
Rod Stewart is set to rock Carrow Road next summer.
Norwich City Football Club has announced that the legendary singer will play the stadium on Wednesday, June 8, 2011.
He is one of the most successful performers of all time with sold-out concerts across the globe.
Norwich City's head of sales and marketing Will Hoy said: 'The club is thrilled to confirm Rod Stewart will be performing live at Carrow Road next June.
'This is going to be another massive concert for the people of Norfolk to enjoy and I'm sure it will bring Rod's fans from right across the country to our stadium and the city of Norwich.
'We're delighted such a major star is coming to the East of England and it is a major boost to the club and the area to have an artiste of this calibre choosing to play at the Carrow Road stadium.'
Tickets for Rod Stewart at Carrow Road go on sale tomorrow at 9am.
