Drivers are being warned to expect delays on a busy route as repairs take place.

Work will begin on Wednesday, March 9 to carry out a series of carriageway repairs on the A149 Caister Road, Great Yarmouth. The site will extend from the stadium southwards to the junction with Barnard Crescent.

The works will be carried out under restricted working hours of 9am-4pm and will take three days to complete.

During the works traffic will be controlled using single lane closures with stop/go boards as necessary.

Access to businesses and properties will be maintained but it is inevitable that there will be some disruption.

The work which will cost £60,000 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council's Community & Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
