A Norwich road has reopened after a two-car crash near the train station.

Emergency services were called to the incident on Thorpe Road at about 12.05pm.

The road was closed in both directions between the Stracey Road junction and the Lower Clarence Road junction because of the incident, but it has since reopened.

Two fire crews, one each from Carrow and Sprowston, rescued one casualty and helped the ambulance.
