Seven people were taken to James Paget University Hospital, in Gorleston, this morning after a crash between three cars and a van at Haddiscoe.
One is reported to be in a critical condition after the crash involving a Ford Fiesta, Fiat Punto, Vauxhall Vivaro and Seat Alhambra on the A143.
Motorists were urged to avoid the A143 between Great Yarmouth and Beccles following the crash which happened just before 7.30am on the A143 at Haddiscoe.
The road was reopened shortly before 11am.
