A number of road closures will be set in place as a major movie production begins filming in Norfolk.
Movie stars will head to King's Lynn to film scenes for Armando Iannucci's The Personal History of David Copperfield, which stars Peter Capaldi, Hugh Laurie, Dev Patel and Tilda Swinton.
Film crews will begin work around the town from Monday, July 16 before filming takes place over Thursday and Friday in the historic quarter of Lynn.
Roads affected by traffic control measures and parking restrictions include King's Staithe Square, South Quay, Saturday Market Place, Chapel Lane and King Street, with a full road closure in St Margaret's Place.
Filming is sure to create a buzz around town with many of Lynn's historic features to create a fitting backdrop, including the recently-restored Baden Powell fishing boat.
Originally built in Walter Worfolk's boatyard in South Lynn, in 1900, the boat has returned to the waters after a 10-year rebuild.
Project leaders Tim Clayton and Chris Ward will be dressed in Dickensian attire as they man the 34ft boat on the Purfleet.
'I'll just be in the background looking as wooden as the boat,' joked Mr Clayton.
'It's all good fun and it will raise the profile with what we're doing with the boat, and of Lynn - it's good for tourism and business and will get more people involved in the town.
'The team behind getting the boat to where it is, it really has been a team effort. I think everybody is really pleased and really chuffed.'
Mr Clayton is no stranger to fame as he created the silver-topped cane for Donald Sutherland in the 1985 film Revolution, which was also filmed in King's Lynn. But the movie turned out to be a major box office flop despite the star-studded cast and multi-million pound budget.
Mr Clayton believes history will not repeat itself with this latest costume drama, adding: 'I am really looking forward to seeing it. 'There will probably be a whole day of filming and it will be edited down to 10 seconds, but it will still be exciting to see.'
The film is being shot in various locations around the region, having already filmed in Bury St Edmunds and moving on to the north Norfolk coast.
