The A146 between Ipswich Road and Hall Road in Norwich WAS closed this morning following a single-vehicle collision.
A police spokesman said the route- part of the busy ring road through Norwich's south -was closed following the incident about 8am this morning (Wednesday, June 28).
The spokesman said: 'The vehicle is in the middle of the road and it looks like the road is going to be closed in both directions and the ambulance will be attending. So that will cause traffic issues at this time of day.'
*There has also been a single-vehicle collision on the A11 Thetford-bound, about two miles south of Wymondham. One lane has been closed for recovery work to take place and delays are expected in the area.
*Police have urged motorists to take care on the roads following heavy rain yesterday and overnight.
A spokesman said: 'Please drive to the conditions and be mindful that you are going to find standing water or flooding even if the rain has stopped.'
