A Norfolk police spokesman said the A47 at Middleton was now clear after a two-vehicle crash.
He said they were called to the scene near Middletons Steakhouse and Grill by the ambulance service at 3.53pm.
He added the accident was between a Volkswagen Polo and a Vauxhall Astra.
The passengers suffered minor injuries, according to the spokesman.
