POLICE are 'keeping an open mind' on linking two attempted car thefts in the Beccles area in three days.
At about 4am on Sunday morning someone tried to break into a silver Vauxhall Astra in Ringsfield.
Damage was caused to the door of the car, which was parked in Cromwell Road, triggering the alarm. The person then ran away taking the aerial with them.
On Tuesday morning at 2.05am two people tried to break into a blue Vauxhall Corsa in Rigbourne Hill, Beccles.
The two were spotted and ran off, but damage was caused to the door.
Anyone with information about the incidents are asked to call 101.
