Rescue after girl gets leg stuck in handrail in Yarmouth

Fire fighters cut a girl free after she managed to get her leg stuck in a handrail at Great Yarmouth bus station.

The incident happened at around 5.42pm yesterday.

A fire engine from Great Yarmouth was sent to rescue the trapped girl from the handrail in a stairwell at the bus station in Regent Road, by Market Gates shopping centre.

Hydraulic cutting equipment was used, and the rescue took six minutes.
