Repairs to a burst water main on The Drift in Fakenham have been delayed after a second leak was discovered.
Anglian Water repaired the initial burst pipe on Friday evening and hoped to have road surface repairs completed by the beginning of the week but the discovery of the second leak means that it could now remain closed until the weekend.
A spokesperson for the company said: 'We're continuing to use tankers and have rerouted water to ensure local residents still have water while we're working.
'Our teams have been working over the weekend to get things back to normal as quickly as possible however the road will remain closed while we make the necessary repairs to the road surface. We're aiming to get the road back to normal before the weekend.
'Once again, we are really sorry for any inconvenience caused by the road works. We'd like to thank customers for their continued patience.'
