A leading renewable energy firm has backed the Norwich and Norfolk Eco Awards as the deadline for nominations approaches.
Vattenfall, which is currently consulting on delivering one of the country's largest off-shore windfarms off the coast of Norfolk, is calling for nominations before the December 1 deadline.
Ruari Lean, Vattenfall's Norfolk Vanguard project lead, said: 'The Norwich and Norfolk Eco Awards highlight and celebrate the positive steps being made to help us all live climate-smarter lives. As well as large scale renewable energy solutions, action at all scales is valuable and important. So if you, or someone else is involved in a project, don't miss out on applying while there is still time.'
Vattenfall is the main sponsor for the 10th annual awards and generous cash prizes are up for grabs for this year's winners.
It is free and easy to apply on the Norwich and Norfolk Eco Awards website.
