The veteran and soldier design is the latest in a series created by Lee Stroble at the Black Horse, in Thetford.

He began decorating the side of the Grade II listed building, on the town's Magdalen Street, to celebrate the Tour of Britain passing through Norfolk in September, 2015.

Since then, he has celebrated St George's Day and Remembrance Day with his spray cans.

'I love doing the memorial stuff, it has a massive impact on people,' said Mr Stroble, who took two days to complete the mural.

Pub owner Terry Gillman, who has commissioned a number of Mr Stroble's past works, said: 'The town is full of military personnel, past and present, we get quite a few of them drink in this pub.

'We just thought it was something we could give back to the community. People love it, we get loads of positive comments.'
