Dereham ice cream man Brian King knew what to do when it snowed - he built an igloo.
Today's snow might have caused a few problems for some, but as these pictures from our archives show, the town had a deluge of the white stuff to deal with a few years back.
But while it looked positively Siberian, life went on.
Posties Pam Wright and June Lovelock made their deliveries by sledge in 1991.
These youngsters took to their sledges too, to make the most of it before it melted.
