In the end, Wymondham Athletics Club came out on top, however, there were no hard feelings after this good-natured competition.

There were 34 personal bests among the record numbers of entrants, with Baz Hipwell completing his 300th park run and Ronnie Mount reaching his century.

Jack Gillick of Wymondham Athletic Club ran the fastest time on the day, completing the five km course in 16 minutes and 24 seconds, while Michael Eccles and Alan Hume of Norfolk Gazelles took second and third respectively.
