Community choirs across Norfolk and Suffolk have raised £1,420 for a children's ward.
The money was raised for West Suffolk Hospital Children's Rainbow Ward at Easter concerts which took place last week.
They involved performances by the VivaVoices community choirs in Wymondham, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket, singing a mix of favourite songs from across the decades.
Graeme Hoson, choir leader, said; 'The Rainbow Ward is particularly close to my heart, because my son Theo, who was born over Christmas required care on the ward for a week.
'During that difficult time my wife and I were impressed by the kindness and dedication of the staff and the quality of care he received.'
VivaVoices meets Wednesdays at 7.30pm at Fairland United Reformed Church, Wymondham. For more information call 01284700286 or visit www.vivavoices.com
