Rail services between Lowestoft and Ipswich have returned to normal on Bank Holiday Monday after a fault with the river swing bridge at Oulton Broad caused early morning delays.
The fault with the river swing bridge at Oulton Broad was reported shortly after 10am, causing services to and from Lowestoft and Ipswich to be delayed by around 40 minutes.
The fault affected services via Saxmundham and Beccles.
At about 11.25am, a spokesman for Abellio Greater Anglia said: 'Disruption caused by an earlier problem with a river bridge between Oulton Broad South and Lowestoft has now ended. Apologies for the earlier disruption, all lines are now open.'
