A signalling fault has caused delays and some cancellations for commuters using rail services from Norwich this afternoon and in to the early evening.
Services between the city and Cambridge, Sheringham, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft were all affected from about 4.30pm until the problem was fixed at 6pm.
Network Rail sent out engineers to deal with the fault which a Greater Anglia spokesman said was with the signalling system on the branches heading out to those destinations.
Greater Anglia said delays were expected to last until about 7pm while the service got back on track.
