Pubs and bars across the region are setting up their big screens and stocking up extra barrels ahead of England's last-16 clash with Colombia.

East Anglian football fans will be spoilt for choice when it comes to venues playing tonight's big game - indeed, they will be harder pressed to find a pub not screening the match.

Open in Norwich has sold out all 450 tickets for tonight's must-win fixture and is advising punters that entry will not be granted on the door.

The venue has brought in more bar staff since the screening of England's opener against Tunisia and has brought forward doors to 5.30pm.

During the 45 minute period prior to pre-match coverage, the venue will screen memorable England moments and blare out a few anthems to get fans in the mood.

Head of events and live music, Craig Hill, said they had plenty of beer stockpiled, though warned they may once again run out of Amstel.

He said: 'There is a shortage of Amstel across the country at the moment, but I am hoping their won't be a shortage of goals tonight. I'm predicting England to win 3-2 after extra time.'

The venue will also be serving burgers for those who do not lose their appetite to nerves.

Elsewhere in Norwich, the York Tavern in Leicester Street will be opening its popular beer garden to football fans.

Around 250 people are expected to pack out the pub and to help ease queues; the tavern will also be offering a table service of beer and cider buckets.

The Boundary Pub in Aylsham Road will be cooking up hotdogs and burgers in their beer garden and will be screening the match on a large projector and five HD screens.

Out on the coast in Great Yarmouth, Spencers Sportsbar will be playing the match on two full HD screens and booming audio from their surround sound system.

In Attleborough Bar 33 is gearing up for the match and in Wymondham the Robert Kett Public House will be showing the match on a large projector plus four other screens.
