A demonstration is to be held in Norwich against the reported killing of gay men in Chechnya.
Russian media and human rights groups have reported that homosexuals in the Russian region were being taken to concentration camps.
Norwich Pride is organising a demonstration to take place outside city hall from 5pm on Thursday to send out a 'strong message'.
There will be several speakers and people are asked to bring rainbow flags, banners and pink flowers.
Nick O'Brien, education lead for Norwich Pride, said: 'LGBT+ people and their allies in Norfolk will be truly shocked to hear of reports from Chechnya which indicate that over 100 men so far have been detained.
'This is against a backdrop of the generally deteriorating human rights situation in Russia. We will never be truly free and safe until everyone is free and safe and it's up to us all to stand up and show solidarity when these horrific incidents occur.'
