The Princess Royal is set to visit Wisbech, to officially open the new education centre and library at the Octavia Hill Birthplace House.
A major building programme has restored the Georgian Grade II listed building on the South Brink
to its original size, and added the new education centre, tea room and gift shop.
The House is the only museum that tells the story of 19th century social reformer Octavia Hill, who battled poverty and disease.
As well as performing the opening ceremony on Tuesday, April 12, Princess Anne is also due to open new facilities at The British Racing School in Newmarket, and open the garden area at the Felixstowe Seafarers Centre.
Octavia Hill is considered to be the founder of modern social work, she was a pioneer of affordable housing, as well as being an artist and a radical.
