Travel company Premier Travel is helping support social care in its community after forging a new partnership with a care provider.

The agency has joined with Independence Matters, which supports adults suffering from a range of disabilities, for a year-long campaign to support the organisation's Dereham community hub.

Under the scheme Premier Travel's Dereham branch will make regular visits to the community hub and provide assistance with tasks and projects.

Independence Matters staff and customers, which include adults with learning and physical disabilities, young people in transition and older people, particularly those with dementia, will receive a number of benefits such as £100 off holidays and preferential rates on foreign currency.

The partnership follows Premier Travel volunteers carrying out painting and decorating at the site last year for the firm's 80th birthday.
