The post office in Drayton Road, Norwich, has reopened this week with longer opening hours.
The revamped post office reopened on Monday and is now open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8am until 7pm, and Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 8am until 7.30pm.
People can now also deal with their car tax at the post office branch.
Post Office area manager Peter Wilkinson said: 'We understand how important Post Office services are to the people of Drayton Road and we are confident this new modern Post Office service will meet the needs of the local community and secure services for the future. This modernisation is part of a major investment programme, the largest in the history of the Post Office and marks a commitment to no more branch closure programmes.'
