History lovers will be able to take a step back in time at a popular steam engine rally on the Norfolk and Suffolk border.
The Weeting Steam Engine Rally and Country Show takes place between Friday, July 14 and Sunday, July 16 at Fengate Farm, Weeting, near Brandon, between 10am and 5pm each day.
There are parades of steam traction engines, steam lorries, vintage tractors, heavy horse and fire engines, plus working steam-powered farmyard machines, a full-sized steam train, a model steam train and small steam models.
There are also static displays of vintage cars, classic cars, motorbikes, stationary engines, military vehicles and many fascinating exhibits.
In addition there are demonstrations of steam ploughing, steam threshing of corn, steam-powered sawmill, stone crushing, mini tractor pulling and farmyard implements of a bygone era.
Ploughing and cultivating demonstrations using vintage tractors and horses will be taking place throughout the weekend.
The Snakewood Dog Agility Team will give regular demonstrations in their own separate arena.
There will also be a craft marquee and more than 60 trade stands as well as free entertainment for children over in the hub, with a fenced in safety zone by the main ring.
There are also old-time fairground rides as well as new rides, bouncy castles, archery and tank rides.
In the main ring this year will be Flying Ryan's Motorcycle Stunt show, with two different performances each day.
There will also be heavy horse displays while over in the small ring, people can watch the art of chainsaw carving and Gundog training displays, along with the exhibits from around the rally field parading throughout the day.
To enable visitors to see all the attractions on the 170-acre showground, transport is provided free of charge in the form of specially-built trailers, towed by tractors.
Car parking is free and there is a 12-acre caravan and camping site for those who wish to stay for the whole weekend.
New for this year is musical entertainment in the main bar.
Admission prices are £8 for over-16s and £6 for concessions on the Friday, and £10 for over-16s and £8 for concessions on the Saturday and Sunday. Under-16s go free throughout the weekend.
