The controversial stairs which are being built on Thetford's Castle Hill have been declared as ugly, according to the majority of people who took our poll.
The steps on the ancient monument are being constructed to stop erosion and help preserve the site.
But in a poll taken by 726 people, 68pc of people thought they were ugly, 18pc thought they were bad, and just 14pc thought they were a good idea.
