Efforts to improve mobile phone signal in the county has been praised in Parliament.
Norfolk County Council's digital innovation and efficiency committee carried out a survey where they found 200 council-owned sites with poor mobile reception. These areas are being offered to mobile operators as potential sites for new masts.
A report into how local government can help improve mobile infrastructure was launched at Parliament and included details on how the county council had already made steps in Norfolk.
Committee vice-chairman councillor Graham Middleton, Sir Henry Bellingham and Geoff Connell, head of IMT at the county council, attended the launch of the Build a Mobile Britain campaign launch.
Mr Middleton said: 'Mobile connectivity is no longer an optional luxury but is essential to daily life. And we recognise that this is a big issue for the people and businesses of Norfolk.'
