Council forced to hand deliver postal votes after error
A Norfolk council has been forced to hand deliver some postal votes, ahead of the district council elections on Thursday, May 2, after discovering that some had not been issued.
Some people in North Norfolk only received their postal votes last weekend.
A North Norfolk District council spokesman said: “Through its internal processes, the council identified early last week that a very small number of postal votes had not been issued and has sought to resolve this quickly to ensure that all voters have the opportunity to cast their vote on Thursday. May 2.
