Hundreds of people have voiced their opposition to the British air strikes in Syria in an anti-war demonstration.
Campaigners were out in King's Lynn today protesting against the launch of missiles by US, UK and France forces in response to a suspected chemical weapons attack in Syria.
Protesters urged passers-by to write messages of peace on a poster and to sign a petition calling on the government to stop all action
Campaigner Jo Rust said hundreds of people signed the petition, adding: 'People feel air strikes is not appropriate action. It was heartening to see how many people care in a small town like King's Lynn.'

She added: 'I can't see how inflicting more terror on a country that's already suffering is going to help bring about peace.
'Although Theresa May said the strikes are targeted, you can never guarantee that innocent people won't be caught up in it.
'She still hasn't taken in Syrian refugees in the numbers she said she would so how is bombing Syria helping them?
'If you look back with the benefit of time, everything that has been done before has made no difference. We're always thinking that we have the right to be the world's police force.
'Had we maintained better diplomacy relations we wouldn't be in this mess.'
Josh Yates, 25, from King's Lynn, said he joined the protest because he felt UK involvement in the Syrian civil war will make matters worse.
He added: 'I didn't vote for Theresa May and I will never agree to the bombing in Syria. It is not our war.'
Jordan Stokes, 20, from Dersingham, said he was concerned about the repercussions of air strikes.
'I have family who live on the edge of Marham so retaliation is a major concern for me,' he said.
'It is only going to get worse if it carries on like this, there is no point risking more civilian lives.'
