Drivers are set for delays at a key Great Yarmouth roundabout as two weeks of landscaping takes place.

New trees, boulders and planted areas are due to be installed at Fullers Hill roundabout from Monday following work carried out earlier this year.

According to Norfolk County Council, which is responsible for the works, the work will involve tree planting to the central area surrounded by a gravel retainment system with boulders and planted areas.

One lane of the roundabout will be coned off for safe working while the work takes place, which will be removed at the weekend.

The works are being funded from the Local Enterprise Partnership and are part of a series of schemes currently ongoing in the town called Transport for Great Yarmouth.

A county council spokesman thanked people for their patience while the work takes place.

The work will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors, along with Great Yarmouth Borough Services.
