Work costing £11,000 is about to begin to move a bus shelter closer to a town centre.
On Monday, March 4, the existing bus shelter west of the railway bridge on Victoria Road in Diss, will be re-installed outside Whtyehead Gardens, also on Victoria Road by the Tesco Superstore.
Some additional routine maintenance on the path between the bridge and Victoria Close will also be carried out.
The work should take one week to finish, although this is subject to weather conditions and Storm Freya is due to hit the country on Sunday.
While pedestrian access will continue while the works are carried out by Norfolk County Council and its contractors, there will be three way traffic control.
