Police are investigating after a teenage girl was approached by two strangers in a car while walking on Great Yarmouth seafront.

At around 6pm on Monday, April 10, a 15-year-old girl was walking down North Drive, when a black BMW with two men inside pulled up alongside her and asked if she would like to get in and have a smoke.

After the girl declined the unwanted offer the car drove off.

Reports on social media suggest others were also approached by the men on this evening.

The girl's father, who was walking behind her at the time, saw the incident, which her mother later reported to the police.

The men inside the car are both described as being aged in their 20s and white.

A police spokesman has urged anybody who may have had a similar experience to contact police on 101.
