Police have issued a warning to drivers to take care on the road following heavy rain and strong winds.
North Norfolk police took to twitter to issue the warning this morning (Saturday October 27).
Posting from its account, the tweet read: 'Team 4 have been out patrolling across a very wet and windy North Norfolk tonight, please be careful as you head out onto the county's roads, lots of standing water so please be careful and watch your speed! #DriveToArrive #Fatal4. Sgt 24.'
A spokesperson from forecasters, Weatherquest, said although there would be some sunny spells today, scattered heavy showers would remain in Norfolk. A moderate to fresh northerly wind would persist and there would be a risk of hail with temperatures reaching a maximum of 8C (46F) to 10C (50F).
A flood alert for the north Norfolk coast has been issued.
