Police warning after a two-week spate of car vandalism in Scarning, near Dereham

Police have urged Scarning residents to be vigilant after a two-week spate of car vandalism in the area.

The paintwork of a Vauxhall Corsa parked on Brooks Drive, Scarning, near Dereham, was damaged after it was scratched along the side during the night of Saturday April 28.

Police believe a key or a similar sharp object was used.

PC Donna Still said: 'There have been similar incidents in the area overnight during the past two weekends. Ideally, keep you car on a drive or locked up in a garage if possible.

'We're urging residents to keep their eyes and ears open and report any suspicious activity to us on 101, including descriptions of individuals if possible.'
