Police in South Norfolk warn cold callers have been operating in the area.

They tweeted: 'Warning - Cold callers in the area offering gardening/driveway work, rubbish clearance. Call 101 to report suspicious activity.'

It comes after officers on the Operation Randall team targeting rural crime warned of doorstep sellers offering to generators and power tools for sale from vans.

They added: 'These sellers will not offer any consumer protection, so can we advise you to say no and report these incidents to the police and trading standards.'

This week we have had an incident in Wymondham where two men entered a farm and tried to sell a generator.
