Police were called to Wymondham Road in Hethel on Wednesday night after a car left the road.

Emergency services, including the police and fire crews from Wymondham were called to Wymondham Road at around 6.20pm following reports that a car had left the road.

The car, a silver volvo, had left the road and gone into a ditch.

An elderly couple who were in the car at the time of the incident escaped with minor injuries.

An ambulance was called to the scene but was stood down before arrival.
