Police have confirmed they are treating the death of a woman in Mundesley as suspicious.
A woman in her 50s, who has yet to be named, was discovered dead at a house in All Saints Way yesterday.
Police were called just before 10am and later arrested a 67-year-old man in connection with the incident.
This morning he was still in custody and being questioned by police.
A post mortem of the body was also due to be carried out today.
Door-to-door enquiries took place yesterday afternoon and scenes of crime officers had placed a cordon around the detached home.
One woman, who did not want to be identified, said she believed a man and woman lived in the house and she had greeted the man as he was tending his front garden when she passed.
