Police target speeding motorists
CELIA WIGG Speeding motorists have been targeted by police in an operation to help reduce anti-social behaviour in Attleborough. The crackdown saw 11 vehicles pulled over by police and six people issued with fixed penalty fines, after complaints by local residents about cars speeding through residential areas, causing a danger and noise nuisance.

through residential areas, causing a danger and noise nuisance.
Roadside checks were carried out, with a number of drivers warned about their behaviour in a joint initia-tive on Friday by the safer neighbourhoods team and the western area road policing unit.
Sgt Jon Papworth said: "This operation was part of the on-going task to reduce the amount of anti-social behaviour within Attle-borough."
