The crackdown saw 11 vehicles pulled over by police and six people issued with fixed penalty fines, after complaints by local residents about cars speeding

through residential areas, causing a danger and noise nuisance.

Roadside checks were carried out, with a number of drivers warned about their behaviour in a joint initia-tive on Friday by the safer neighbourhoods team and the western area road policing unit.

Sgt Jon Papworth said: "This operation was part of the on-going task to reduce the amount of anti-social behaviour within Attle-borough."
