Norfolk police stopped the Suzuki GSXR rider on Sunday morning on the A47 near Norwich and found the driver to be wearing jeans and deck shoes.
An officer on an unmarked police motorcycle was alerted to the Suzki motorcycle when they were overtaken on the A47 in Trowse.
A police spokesperson said: 'The officer followed the bike and carried out a moving follow check using the speed enforcement and video equipment on the motorcycle and recorded a speed of 102mph in the 70mph limit.'
The rider was then stopped by the officer.
The rider was wearing a crash helmet and gloves but no other protective clothing.
