Car details have been released by police officers looking for a missing man who has links to Norfolk and East Anglia.

Philip Cave, 53, from Watford, went missing from his home address in the north of the town on Friday March 23.

Officers investigating the whereabouts of Mr Cave have shared his car's full registration plate, which is FM06 HSV.

His car, a silver BMW Z4 convertible, has since been picked up on ANPR cameras in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, at 6pm on March 23.

Mr Cave does have connections to Yorkshire and has also talked about going to East Anglia, but could be anywhere in the country.

He could possibly be in the Birmingham area although it could be that he is now driving in the countryside, or has stopped his car in a remote location.

The 53-year-old is described as a white man, with grey balding hair and a goatee beard.

He is 6ft 2in tall, of stocky build and is likely to be wearing a gilet, like the one in the photo.

The public is asked to keep an eye out for a man and car fitting the descriptions given, particularly in Norfolk, Yorkshire and Warwickshire.

Anyone who sees Mr Cave is asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary straight away via the non-emergency number 101, quoting ISR 582 of March 24.
