A search of the river in Norwich is being carried out as part of the inquiry to trace a missing Norwich woman.
Sarah 'Topsy' Gardner, aged 60, was last seen at her home address on Sprowston Road in the early hours of Saturday, March 18.
Officers are growing concerned for the welfare of Sarah and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen her or may know of her whereabouts.
A spokesman for Norfolk police confirmed a search of the river in Norwich was being carried out as part of the inquiry.
It is believed Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service's underwater search and recovery team, which is about to close after funding was cut, is assisting.
Sarah is described as white, 5ft 5ins tall, of slim build and with very long grey hair.
It is also believed she may be wearing glasses and a maroon puffer style jacket with blue stripes.
