Police are investigating a suspicious fire at a hotel in Lowestoft.
The blaze broke out at the Sunrise Inn, Corton Road, which is currently unoccupied and undergoing refurbishment.
Firefighters were called just before 7.30pm on Wednesday by several members of the public who reported seeing smoke coming from the ground floor of the hotel.
Fire crews from Lowestoft South and Lowestoft North stations were able to stop the flames from spreading to the building's other two floors. The blaze was put out by 8pm.
Last year there were two fires at the Sunrise Inn, one of which was believed to have been suspicious while the other was believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
