Police officers injured in Fakenham town centre fight

Four police officers were injured following a fight in Fakenham town centre.

The public disorder happened in Queens Road and Bridge Street between 10.20pm and 10.40pm on Saturday, June 23.

A group of between 20 and 30 young people were in the area at the time and officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the town centre at the time of the altercation, or who witnessed the offence.

The four police officers received minor or slight injuries, according to a Norfolk police spokesman.

Three men have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
