A teenager has been arrested in Caister after he was found to be carrying a knife.
Police were called to the area of Beach Road in Caister at 9.40pm last night following a report of a male with a knife.
An 18-year-old man from Caister was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a bladed article in a public place. He was taken to Great Yarmouth police investigation centre and the knife was seized. Nobody was hurt during the incident.
The arresting officer was carrying a taser a the time. The taser was drawn but it was not fired during this incident.
The officers who attended were on patrol in Caister and were on scene within a couple of minutes of the call.
